Consisting of two intertwined branches facing towards one another, lit from above, casting a distinct overlap of the branches shadows. The artwork explores the relationship between the physical and metaphysical can affect the world around us. Utilising two neurological paths symbolised by branches, appearing to interact although not physically touching, represent the physical realm of the world we see. While the casted shadow touches, representing the metaphysical realm that affects everything, space, time, light, gravity, and heat.

Concatenation was the first exploration into tree branches as a material for Keenan. Staring up at the tree's and stars over the years, he has grown an interest towards natures innate ability to grow into vastly unique and complex landscapes, environments, plant life and animals around the world.
